It is an ideal laser pointer for tactical use allowing:
- In "pointer" mode: for signaling over long distances and as a dazzler at distances greater than 100-200m
- In "expanded beam" mode especially for use as a dazzler at short distances between 5 and 100m.
It also incorporates a quick mount for a 20mm picatinny rail
The "Dazzler" systems can be considered "non-lethal weapons", the direction of its laser beam prevents vision temporarily without causing eye damage, provided that its use is respected at a distance of use greater than the minimum NOHD "Nominal Ocular Hazard Distance ".
Its use as a Dazzler is restricted to the State Security Forces and Corps.
According to the latest scientific studies in non-lethal weapon systems technology, the optimal pulse frequency for use as a non-lethal weapon is 3-15Hz; the green wavelength being 500-560nm, one of the optimal for use for 1-band emission systems
This Dazzler laser pointer includes 3 power modes:
- Always ON
- Pulsed 1Hz, NOHD: 100m
- Pulsed 3 Hz, NOHD: 4m
