An infrared laser pointer has a wide variety of applications and uses: it is especially suitable as a long-range infrared illumination system for night vision equipment, as well as for spectroscopy, holography, engineering, optics ...
The concentrated high power 808nm infrared laser light (in low ambient light conditions) can be seen as a dim light with a reddish hue, versus 980nm which is completely invisible at any power. The sensitivity of the 808nm or 980nm light, varies depending on the camera model or IR night vision equipment
Laserlince S.L. recommends the use of 808nm lasers for use in night vision, most cameras and IR viewers have a better response at 808nm than at 980nm
It allows the regulation of the elevation and the drift by turning the lateral adjustment wheels in the same way that a telescopic sight is calibrated.
It has 2 operating modes: ON / OFF + pad switch
Includes mount for 20mm / Picatinny rail
